“The landscape is an orchestra in which everything has to be played at the same time under the same baton, to achieve the vibration of the air,” said the landscape painter Ricardo Gómez Campuzano. Like the cadence of sound, LANDSCAPE ABOUT / ON LANDSCAPE reviews, decomposes, deconstructs and reconstructs the notes of nature from known compositions to create new images. With a careful weaving between material, light and color, rhythms and rhythms are proposed in dialogue with the history of art.
Thus, the exhibition allows new connections with the past, with the contemplative image of landscapes from decades ago, with the place and, above all, with the feeling. The exhibition allows another experience of the landscape that connects history with the present, because finally, as Georges Bertrand, French geographer, indicated, the landscape is a Gordian knot that should not be cut.
